KEARNEY, Neb. — Farmers, industry professionals and vendors from across the Midwest are visiting the Buffalo County Fairgrounds for the 56th annual Gateway Farm Expo.

The volunteer-run, nonprofit event offers free admission, parking, and lunch for attendees.

Exhibitors are showcasing the latest in agricultural technology, including drones, precision equipment, and innovations for cattle and row crop farming.

Organizers say the show not only highlights new techniques but also brings the community together to celebrate agriculture.

"It's the 56th annual Gateway Farm Show. It's strictly ag show. So people come to see what's new and innovative for the ag industry. That's what brings everybody here," said Gateway Farm Expo organizer Nathan Frerichs.

Visitors are attending from Iowa, South Dakota, Kansas, Wyoming and beyond, reflecting the event’s strong regional reputation.

The show runs through Thursday evening and features guest speakers and demonstrations for all who are interested in learning more about modern agriculture.
