Harvestfest returns to Prairie Loft on Sunday for 17th year

With fall harvest in full swing across the state, a Hastings non-profit is hosting its yearly event this weekend to celebrate the harvest.

HASTINGS, Neb. – With fall harvest in full swing across the state, a Hastings non-profit is hosting its yearly event this weekend to celebrate the harvest.

On Sunday, the Prairie Loft Center for outdoor and agricultural learning is holding its 17th annual 'Harvestfest' event. 

The free event will feature food and art for sale by vendors, plus outdoor exploration, wagon rides, food trucks, farm animals, kids' music, family activities, tractor displays and more.

Harvestfest will also feature music and dancing by Jim King. 

Prairie Loft is reminding guests that pets are not allowed, and to consider carpooling, as parking space is limited.

The event is on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 1-5 p.m. at the Prairie Loft Center in Hastings at 4705 Dld Rd.
