One killed in early morning Hamilton County crash

One person is dead after a car accident in central Nebraska.

AURORA, Neb. -- One person is dead after a car accident in central Nebraska. 

The Hamilton County Sheriff's office said the crash happened Tuesday morning around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 14 and Road 11 just south of Aurora. 

Nebraska State Patrol said a driver in one of the cars died as a result of the crash. 

The driver of the other car was taken to a hospital in Grand Island. 

The names of those involved have not yet been released.
