GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Three people are recovering from gunshot wounds following an overnight shooting in Grand Island.

Police say it happened just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Pletcher Terrace, which is a few blocks east of CHI St. Francis.

Police said Wednesday that a 29-year-old man fired a gun at three people inside an occupied vehicle.

The victims are a 20-year-old man, 22-year-old-man and a 27-year-old-man according to GIPD.

The victims transported themselves to CHI St. Francis Emergency Room following the shooting, and are all expected to recover from their injuries.

Officers arrested the man and he is in jail on suspicion of three counts of first-degree assault and four weapons violations.
