Hastings Pride gets a grant from the state

The Nebraska Tourism Commission is helping one Hastings organization that is celebrating diversity.

HASTINGS, Neb. -- The Nebraska Tourism Commission is helping one Hastings organization that is celebrating diversity. 

The Commission awarded grants to organizations across the state, including one to Hastings Pride. 

The award totals $4,000. Hastings Pride organizers say that money will be used to make their summer Pride event more fun for everyone in attendance. 

The grant was a piece of over $600,000 handed out to organizations all over the state.
