Snow Emergency canceled for the City of Hastings

Effective at 1 PM Saturday, the Snow Emergency for Hastings has been canceled. The snow volumes were less than expected and there is no widespread plowing.

HASTINGS, Neb. -- Effective at 1 PM Saturday, the Snow Emergency for Hastings has been canceled. 

Adams County Emergency Manager Ron Pughes said in a news release that the snow volumes were less than expected and there is no widespread plowing. Because of that they were able to cancel the parking restrictions on snow routes in town.

The Snow Emergency was declared on Friday based on the National Weather Service forecast. It was originally set to be in place through Monday morning.
