Investigation continues after man found dead in Adams County

HASTINGS, Neb. — The Nebraska State Patrol continues to investigate the death of a man found in rural Adams County last week.

Jeremy Trausch, 44, of Roseland, was found Tuesday morning, Jan. 27, in a ditch in rural Adams County, just north of Highway 6 and west of Juniata. His pickup truck was located nearby.

An autopsy has been performed, but the cause of death is pending confirmation from toxicology testing. Investigators say Trausch had superficial injuries, but there were no signs of significant trauma.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities say there is no apparent threat to public safety. Anyone with information is asked to contact Nebraska State Patrol Troop C investigators at 308-395-3713.
