Nebraska softball star makes an appearance in Hastings

HASTINGS, Neb.-- The softball superstar of Nebraska is drawing attention to a local business in Hastings.

Jordyn Bahl, the NFCA Division I Player of the Year, stopped by Small Town Famous on Friday.

She was there from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to meet people, sign memorabilia, take photos and be apart of making t-shirts.

Bahl has been doing events like this all across Nebraska and appreciates the fans who show up.

"I like to do events like this just because it's really special for the kids," said Bahl. "This is during the state softball tournament for a lot of them so they're really excited about that and getting to come out to Hastings allows me to get to connect with a lot of girls that aren't in the Lincoln and Omaha areas. It's really special." 

Fans can stop down at Small Town Famous to pick up printed softball shirts as well as other sports-themed clothing.
