LINCOLN, Neb.-- The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Couple and Family Clinic is working to expand access to resources that are attentive, non-judgmental, and well-equipped.

According to the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, 88 of Nebraska's 93 counties have a shortage of mental health care providers.

Clinics such as UNL's Couple and Family Clinic offer mental health services for individuals, couples and families and have the ability to reach clients both in person and via Telehealth.

Each session is supervised by a doctoral-level mental health provider, with a second-year graduate student in the marriage and family therapy program leading.

The clinic also offers a sliding cost scale based on income.

To contact the Couple and Family Clinic about accessing mental health services, please call 402-472-5035.
