Adams County reveals upcoming performers and new rodeo at kickoff event

Adams County officials recently unveiled the 2025 grandstand lineup that will be performing at this year’s Fairfest concert.

HASTINGS, Neb.- Famous country singers and a brand-new event are coming to a southern Nebraska fair. 

Adams County officials recently unveiled the 2025 grandstand lineup that will be performing at this year’s Fairfest concerts along with a brand-new event coming to Hastings.  

Country artists Chase Rice, Warren Zeiders, and Scott Wolverton will be headlining the fair concerts. 

There’s no concert on Wednesday this year but The Frontmen featuring Richie McDonald, Larry Stewart and Tim Rushlow will perform Thursday, July 19. Chase Rice and Nebraska-native Wolverton will perform on Friday, Zeiders is on Saturday and Nebraska’ Roughest Rodeo hill be held on Sunday.

Officials also announced that the fairgrounds will be the new host of the Mid-States Rodeo finals for at least the next two years. 

Local organizers broke the news to the community Thursday evening during a business after hours kickoff event.
