LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska School Activities Association Board of Directors aren't making a decision on the future location of the High School Softball State Tournament until at least next month.

On Wednesday morning, the NSAA held its monthly Board of Directors meeting in Lincoln to hear proposals from three organizations vying to host the NSAA High School Softball State Tournament next year.

Proposals were made by representatives from Papillion/Sarpy County, Lincoln, and Hastings.

After hearing all three proposals, the board elected to take no action, and tabled the vote decision until the next board meeting on Dec. 11 in Norfolk.

The Bill Smith Softball Complex in Hastings has been the host of the yearly state softball tournament for the past 17 years.
