Beetlejuice entry wins Hastings scarecrow competition
Premier Dermatology and Mohs Surgery Center won this year’s Hastings Parks and Recreation Department’s Halloween scarecrow contest with a Beetlejuice entry.
By News Channel NebraskaHASTINGS, Neb. - Premier Dermatology and Mohs Surgery Center won this year’s Hastings Parks and Recreation Department’s Halloween scarecrow contest with a Beetlejuice entry.
Voting took place Oct. 13-27 on the Hastings Parks and Recreation Department’s Facebook page.
Premier Dermatology and Mohs Surgery Center chose the Beetlejuice theme because of the “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” movie that was released Sept. 6.
Beetlejuice was among 24 entries in this year’s scarecrow competition. All of the scarecrows were on display along the Pioneer Spirit Trail within Libs Park.
As the winner, Premier Dermatology and Mohs Surgery Center received four free one-topping pizzas from Dominos, $40 Chamber bucks, and 10 buy one get one free movie pass to the Rivoli 3 movie theater.
