HASTINGS, Neb. – Hastings College is introducing a new booster club for its school's athletic teams.

The college announced the Bronco Booster Club on Monday, under the direction of Athletic Director Chris Clements.

The Bronco Booster Club will support the Athletic Department, which includes 24 collegiate sports with 100% of membership proceeds going towards the student-athlete experience.

Until Monday, Hastings College was one of two schools in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) that didn't have a booster club.

A news release says the purpose of the Bronco Booster Club is to provide funding for greater community awareness and complementary financial support.

Members of the Bronco Booster Club can receive the following benefits:
– Admission to athletic, theatre, art and music events
– Booster Club merchandise
– Access to VIP events
– Hastings Broncos memorabilia

“It’s the Athletic Department’s mission to give our student-athletes the best college experience and these funds will help enhance that experience,” Clements continued. “In order to make this happen, we need your help to do it. We believe Hastings College is one of the best places to be and by adding our own Booster Club, this will only enhance that experience.”

Additional details and a link to a form to join the Bronco Booster Club can be found on the Hastings College website.
