HASTINGS, Neb. — Jay Beckby and Jacque Cranson appear poised to advance to the general election in the race to become the next Hastings mayor.

The Adams County Election Commission released the unofficial primary election results late Tuesday night.

Jay Beckby - 1,389 - 26.16%

Jacque Cranson - 1,373 - 25.86%

Bill Hitesman - 1,251 - 23.56%

Shawn Hartmann - 1,011 - 19%

Rodney Holling - 276, 5.2%

The winner of the general election will replace Corey Stutte, who is not running for reelection.
