KEARNEY, Neb. — Nebraska’s First Lady is continuing to promote agriculture with school visits.

Suzanne Pillen stopped at three Kearney Public Schools on Monday as part of the Nebraska Agriculture in the Classroom program, which is managed by the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation. Pillen read to third-grade students at Glenwood, Meadowlark and Northeast elementary schools.

During her visit, First Lady Pillen read “Right This Very Minute” a story that illustrates the value and impact of agriculture. Those interested in further details about the book can visit the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation’s official website: https://nefbfoundation.org/bushels-of-stories/.
