KEARNEY, Neb. — A Grand Island woman is in jail after authorities say she caused a crash during a road rage incident on Interstate 80.
The Nebraska State Patrol says law enforcement received a report of a hit and run crash near the Odessa exit around 6:20 Monday night. Soon after, troopers clocked an eastbound car at 95 miles per hour near the east Kearney exit and performed a traffic stop.
A news release says the investigation found that 20-year-old Marjiek Lual purposely used her car to hit an SUV twice, forcing it into the median. Nobody was injured.
Lual is charged with attempted second-degree assault, felony criminal mischief, willful reckless driving and two traffic violations. She is lodged in the Buffalo County Jail.
