McCook man charged with child enticement

A McCook man is in jail facing allegations that he tried to lure a 14-year-old into his vehicle.

MCCOOK, Neb. -- A McCook man is in jail facing allegations that he tried to lure a 14-year-old into his vehicle.

Thirty-five-year-old Lance Krotter was arrested Tuesday. 

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said an investigation began after a juvenile called them saying someone, later identified as Krotter, drove up and began speaking with the juvenile. 

Police said the 14-year-old yelled for adults, who confronted Krotter before he drove off. 

Krotter was eventually arrested by North Platte Police. He faces a felony charge of child enticement.
