Burwell woman sentenced to prison for 2019 fatal car crash

A Burwell woman is headed to prison for her involvement in a fatal crash in Central Nebraska.

BURWELL, Neb. -- A Burwell woman is headed to prison for her involvement in a fatal crash in Central Nebraska. 

30-year-old Kelsie Privoznik-Bloom was sentenced to two to ten years in prison Tuesday in Valley County District Court.

She was convicted in March of Manslaughter related to a 2019 crash that killed 52-year-old Sandy Psota of Ord.

The crash happened northwest of Ord on Highway 11. 

Investigators said at the time that Privoznik-Bloom's car was going 82 mph. 

Prosecutors said several drugs were detected in her drug in tests done following the crash.
