Gage broke a 51-year-old discus record originally held by Tom Kropp's by throwing 186' 3"; he also broke a shotput record by throwing 60' 11". He won Athlete of the Year and Lifter of the Year for the 2021 - 22 school year. Won back-to-back Class B Gold in shotput and discus.

Gage has committed to Wyoming.
