Alliance claims unified bowling district title

Bulldogs finish with a score of 1034 to earn trip to state tournament.

ALLIANCE, Neb. (KNEP) - Six teams competed in Alliance for the Unified Bowling District B-6 Tournament on Wednesday. In the end the Alliance team broke a school record with a score of 1034 to claim the district title. The win also sends Alliance to the state tournament in Lincoln.

It’s the Bulldogs Unified Bowling team’s second straight trip to state as district champions. The Alliance team consists of Rhonda Clark, Moises Garza, Tyler Jensen, Daulton Mangas, Meagan Morgan, and head coach Laura Mangas.

Ogallala finished second with a score of 855, they are also heading to state as a wildcard team.

The 2021 Unified Bowling State Tournament is set for Monday December 6th in Lincoln.
