AUBURN-The Auburn Bulldogs football team came into the Class C1 playoffs as the #7 seed and hosted #10 Wahoo in Auburn.

From the very beginning of the game the Wahoo Warriors wanted to make their presence felt with a physical approach upfront, especially on defense. Even though the Bulldog's Ryan Dixon was able to rush over 100 yards Wahoo kept the rest of the Auburn offense off balance.

However, the Bulldogs would battle and leave everything out on the field. Before the half Auburn was able to score and get themselves within five points 18-13.

Wahoo would score the only points of the second half, but would control time of possession, and grind out the game to a final score of 24-13.

The Warriors were led by quarterback Owen Hancock who was 4/6 passing with 83 yards and a touchdown. Hancock also had 13 rushes for 90 years and a touchdown. Defensively Trent Hallowell had two key interceptions for Wahoo.

Wahoo moves on the face Kearney Catholic while Auburn finishes their season with a record of 7-3
