UNL implements mask mandate

The University of Nebraska- Lincoln announced that they will be requiring face masks for all students and staff in indoor spaces.

LINCOLN, Neb.-- The University of Nebraska- Lincoln announced that they will be requiring face masks for all students and staff in indoor spaces.

UNL Chancellor Ronnie Green announced the mandate to all staff and students on Wednesday.

The announcement comes as the Lincoln- Lancaster County Health Department implemented new requirements for the use of face masks indoors.

This policy will remain in effect for the duration of the county's directed health measure, which currently extends to September 30th.
