SIDNEY - Two events in Sidney this weekend are encouraging people to get outside. 

PlainsWest CASA is hosting their annual "Movie in the Park" at dusk on Friday evening. They will be showing the movie "The Greatest Showman" at Legion Field.

Gates open at 7 p.m. and will feature face painting, games, concessions and a silent auction benefiting the local CASA program that serves Kimball, Cheyenne and Deuel Counties.

Attendees are asked to bring a blanket and chairs for the free movie.

On Saturday, Sidney Regional Medical Center will host the 17th Annual Health Center Foundation Four-Person Golf Scramble at Hillside Golf Course.

Registration is at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. The cost of the 18-hole tournament is $65 per person and includes golf, green fees and dinner. The event also includes contests and hole prizes.

Proceeds will be used for a digital breast tomography to help improve breast cancer detection at the Sidney hospital.
