Kailynn Gubbels of Arlington is not only a two-time gold medalist, she's a state record holder.

OMAHA - Kailynn Gubbels of Arlington is not only a two-time gold medalist, she's a state record holder.

Gubbels won the Class B girls 100M hurdles with a time of 14.59. That beat her previous state record of 14.75 and the meet record of 14.81 set by Julianna Barr of Holdrege.

Gubbels also claimed gold in girls high jump. She cleared 5-feet-8 inches to beat the second-place finisher by two inches.
