Lara Wells Signs with Peru State Golf

Peru State golf coach Sue Owen recently announced that Lara Kelly Wells (Girard, Kan.) signed her letter of intent to play women's golf for the Bobcats.

(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State golf coach Sue Owen recently announced that Lara Kelly Wells (Girard, Kan.) signed her letter of intent to play women's golf for the Bobcats.
 
Wells, a senior at Girard High School, is the daughter of Melanie and Ronnie Wells. Lara joined the Girard High School golf team and has had a successful career being not only a State Competitor but also team MVP.
 
Wells has been a high academic honor roll member, Renaissance Cardholder, Kansas Board of Regents Curriculum Completer and a National Honors Society member.
 
Wells plans on majoring in kinesiology. In addition to her golf scholarship, Wells will be receiving the No Boundaries scholarship to Peru State.
