Family Raises Awareness For Lung Cancer While Continuing to Fight The Disease

On Thursday, September 24, Tracee was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer stage 4.

UNION-Tracee Smith is a 40-year-old single mother to 4 children, Tory and Trey Lamkins, and Trystin and Trevyn  Hauschild.  Tracee graduated from Lourdes Central Catholic in Nebraska City, and her son Trey states "right now my older sister goes to Peru State College, I go to Weeping Water and my younger siblings go to Conestoga" as the family's ties run through River Country 

On Thursday, September 24, Tracee was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer stage 4. The cancer has spread beyond the lung to a couple other spots in her body.
