GERING, Neb. (KNEP) - The Gering soccer program will have new leaders for the 2021 seasons. On the boys side former Bulldog Chris Guadarrama will take over the program.

While on the girls side head coach Henri Prieels is stepping down. Work and family led to him making the decision to leave the program. Prieels coached the Lady Bulldogs since 2017 helping Gering advance into district finals in both 2018 and 2019.

This season Gering returned several key members from last season’s team and was expected to contend again for a district title, but COVID-19 put a cancellation on the spring sports season.
