Law Officers Serve Search Warrants, Arrest Three in Wymore, Blue Springs
Law officers make three arrests after search of southern Gage County homes

BEATRICE - Three persons have been arrested for alleged drug violations after officers from several agencies served search warrants at three homes in Wymore and Blue Springs.
The warrants were obtained in an investigation involving methamphetamine distribution in Gage County. They were served at about 7 a.m. Tuesday, by Gage County Sheriff’s Officers, Beatrice Police and the Nebraska State Patrol. During a search at a West First Street home in Blue Springs, officers recovered seven individual zip-lock bags with methamphetamine, measuring a total of 3.3. grams. They also found a digital scale, about two hundred empty plastic zip-lock bags, a suspected drug ledger documenting transactions, six meth pipes, snort straws, marijuana pipes and $140 in cash.
Two men in the residence were arrested. They are identified as 49-year-old Leslie Shepardson, of Blue Springs…..and 50-year-old Dennis Pella, whose address was not given. Shepardson was arrested for possession, with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of drug money, drug possession and maintaining a drug house. Pella was arrested for alleged drug possession.
Authorities found a bag containing suspected methamphetamine at a Wymore home in the seven-hundred block of North 8th….and arrested 52-year-old David Shepardson for drug possession.
During the search of a South Douglas Street home in Blue Springs, authorities found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Law officers cited 30-year-old Samantha Hockman, of Blue Springs, for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Children were found in the residence, and law officers contacted the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services on their behalf.
