SIDNEY - Under a new Directed Health Measure that took effect Monday, churches are allowed to have in-person services again with some limitations.

Churches across the region have been closed, and ministers and priests have been forced to host services and messages online, during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Despite the new DHM, St. Patrick's and St. Joseph's Catholic Churches in Sidney and Kimball will not host in-person services until at least May 23 and 24.

Fr. Mike McDermott joined "Community Connection" during Swap Shop on Monday to discuss their strategy with the COVID-19 virus.
