Wayne Woman Arrested on Felony Drug Charges following traffic stop on Hwy 57

A Wayne woman is in jail after being arrested on felony drug charges in Stanton County.

STANTON - A Wayne woman is in jail after being arrested on felony drug charges in Stanton County.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped a car Saturday afternoon on Highway 57 South of Stanton after receiving complaints the car was being driven erratically.

The driver, 62-year-old Patricia Lewis, was found to be in possession of meth, pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Lewis was placed under arrest and is scheduled to appear in court in June.
