PIERCE - A sixth-grader from northeast Nebraska is showing that you don't have to be an adult to make a difference.

12-year old Mikenzie Lawrence of Pierce has been making pellon-lined masks for use during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Family members say she has made nearly 100 masks in less than a week.

The masks have been sold all over the area from grocery stores to construction companies to dermatology clinics.
