SIDNEY, NE - Whirlpool Consumer Services is bringing jobs to Sidney.

The company hosted a job fair in Sidney late last week. The jobs would be remote and allow people to work from home. Anyone hire would work with the virtual contact center.

Randy Maple with Whirlpool said at the event that the positions will be part-time to start, but opportunities may grow in the future.

"We're in hopes that our leadership team is so excited about this opportunity that full-time is something maybe we can pursue later on, but part-time is where we get started and how we're building our relationships right now," Maple said.

The Cheyenne County Chamber also held a ribbon cutting last Thursday ahead of the job fair to celebrate Whirlpool Corporation bringing jobs to Sidney.

For anyone who was not able to attend the job fair can still reach Whirlpool's talent team with any questions at [email protected]
