Utica man arrested following fatal stabbing

A Utica man was arrested after a deadly stabbing early Wednesday morning.

SEWARD COUNTY - A Utica man was arrested after a deadly stabbing early Wednesday morning.

Deputies from the Seward County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a stabbing in Utica around 1 a.m., the sheriff's office said.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies arrived and arrested Donald K. Polcyn Jr., 27.

The victim was transported by medics to the Seward Memorial Hospital where they later died as a result of the stabbing, according to authorities.

The sheriff's office said Polcyn was arrested on charges of murder in the second degree and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

The investigation is ongoing.
