An Omaha Fire Department Battalion Chief credits wearing his seatbelt to letting him walk away from a serious car accident on Monday.

OMAHA - An Omaha Fire Department Battalion Chief credits wearing his seatbelt to letting him walk away from a serious car accident on Monday.

The crash was reported 42nd and Leavenworth.

According to a Facebook post by Omaha Fire, the Chief walked away with only minor injuries thanks to his seatbelt.

Investigators say all other parties involved in the accident were uninjured.
