Hamilton, Merrick County Alcohol Inspections Find 100% Compliance

Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol reported a 100 percent compliance rate during alcohol inspections in Hamilton and Merrick Counties.

GRAND ISLAND - Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol reported a 100% compliance rate during alcohol inspections in Hamilton and Merrick Counties.

According to a news release, on Friday the NSP checked 37 businesses in Hamilton and Merrick Counties.

All of them checked the minor’s identification and refused the sale of alcohol.

Captain Russell Lewis says they love to businesses doing their part to prevent underage drinking.

The operation was made possible thanks in part to a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
