A former Lincoln daycare employee facing multiple charges in connection to a child pornography investigation plead not guilty in Federal Court on Wednesday.

LINCOLN - A former Lincoln daycare employee facing multiple charges in connection to a child pornography investigation plead not guilty in Federal Court on Wednesday.

Miller, who was arrested in October, was indicted by a grand jury this week, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced the charges Wednesday morning. He is a former employee of Playful Painters daycare in Lincoln.Titus Miller, 26, appeared in court Wednesday afternoon and plead not guilty to five charges of sexual exploitation, one count of production of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.

The five cases of child exploitation took place between August 17, and October 15, 2019, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Miller had already been charged with production and distribution of child pornography. He also faces four felony charges of child sexual assault in Lancaster County Court. Prosecuters in the state case said they will wait until the federal case is done to move forward.

Miller is due back in court in January and will remain in custody until then.
