Lourdes prevails on senior night

The Knights honored five seniors and held a "pink out" night for breast cancer awareness.

NEBRASKA CITY - Senior Ansley Esser served up seven aces, senior Elaina Madison had six kills, and the Lourdes Central Catholic volleyball team swept Friend on Senior Night Tuesday, 25-6, 25-16, 25-12 (3-0).

The Knights honored five seniors and held a "pink out" night for breast cancer awareness.

Lourdes finished with 19 aces.

The Knights (18-6) travel to Palmyra on Thursday. Friend (0-12) will host Meridian on Thursday.
