Flooding impacts Odessa: road closures temporarily strand drivers

The town of Odessa was impacted by flash flooding Tuesday. Heavy rain overnight caused road closures and caused some travelers and semi-truck drivers to become stranded and unable to get on Interstate 80 Tuesday morning. 

According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation website, the 10B Link from Odessa to Interstate 80 was closed. US Highway 30 from Kearney to Elm Creek was also closed as of 5:00 p.m Tuesday.
