Weekend On-Air Host / Producer

After graduating from Conestoga High School in the spring of 2018 I still had no idea what I wanted to do during and after college. After a lot of changing my mind and second thoughts I decided to pursue a path that satisfied my passion for agriculture and small-town communities, as well as my love for storytelling and communications by majoring in agricultural and environmental sciences communications at UNL.

Often times I get the question, “well what can you do with a degree in that?” The answer I tend to give everyone is that you can do a lot with this degree! However, I never thought radio would be one of those things. During the first semester of my freshman year of college a class challenged me to job shadow somewhere to learn about an area of communications I didn’t know much about. At the time radio kind of scared me but I decided to get out of my comfort zone and shadow at B103. Thanks to the welcoming staff here who allowed me to officially become part of the team, I’ve been able learn a variety of skills that I otherwise wouldn’t have had the opportunity to explore. I can safely say radio doesn’t scare me anymore!
