Husker hoops partnering with Red Cross to help flood victims

LINCOLN, NE (News Channel Nebraska) - The Nebraska Husker basketball team is encouraging all Nebraskans to help in the relief efforts.
At the Nebraska versus Butler men's basketball NIT game on Wednesday, the Red Cross and Nebraska Athletics volunteers and student-athletes will collect cash donations at the Pinnacle Bank Arena when the doors open at 6:30 PM.
One hundred percent of the funds collected at the game will go toward Nebraska and Southwest Iowa flood relief.
