NIOBRARA, NE (Nebraska State Patrol) - Water has apparently caused disaster in northern Knox County.
This image might be a bit hard to make out but it comes to us from the Nebraska State Patrol. This is Highway 281 over the Niobrara River. The bridge appears to be completely gone. This is downriver from the Spencer Dam…which has failed. Evacuations are underway in the towns of Spencer and Lynch. We will bring you more on this situation as we find it out.
