NORTH OF SHELTON, NE (Mike Flood / News Channel Nebraska) - Mike Flood reports live on area flooding.
Four miles North of I-80 in Buffalo county, fields are filling up with rushing water.
There are flood warnings and watches throughout much of central Nebraska. Today the rain will change to snow and increase in intensity. Tomorrow winds in central Nebraska will exceed 60 miles per hour, including Ord, Loop City, and Broken Bow.
There is also a chance later today for thunderstorms in south-central Nebraska, even a possible tornado. Roads are flooded and businesses are closed.
We urge you, if you see standing water on a road or highway, turn around!
