SIDNEY -- The Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is hosting a fund-raising event for Scarlette Taylor.

On December 5, 16-year-old Taylor was injured in a two-vehicle accident at Jennifer Lane and Link 17J.

She sustained multiple injuries, including a Traumatic Brain Injury called a Diffuse Axonal Injury, and was life-flighted to Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colo. Her injuries require numerous doctor visits, including trips to Colorado.

The Colorado appointments require hotel stays, an additional cost in recovery.

The family is in the process of appealing to the insurance company’s denial of costs.

All money raised will go to current and future medical bills, as well as help with travel expenses such as gas, food and lodging. Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser with others. No amount is too small and will be greatly appreciated.
