Former rural Doniphan resident Cheryl Lyn Morrow, 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in Goodyear, AZ.

 

Private family services will be held at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Scott Evans officiating. Cheryl requested a private family burial at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. She also requested that there be no viewing or visitation. The family suggests that memorials to celebrate Cheryl’s life be sent to Dawn Nowka, 2482 Tunnel Road, Estes Park, CO 80517 for designation to Rosedale United Methodist Church where Cheryl was a member in her youth. Memorials to a charity of your choice are also welcome. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family. Cheryl was born on September 28, 1959, at Clark Air Force Base in Pampanga, Philippines, to Delores and William Morrow, where Bill was stationed while in the military. She was a 1977 graduate of Doniphan Public Schools, and a 1981 graduate of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. While at UNL, Cheryl was a member of the Husker Marching Band Flag Corp and the women's softball team. After graduating from UNL, Cheryl had a very successful and extensive career as a financial broker in Kansas City, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix. She also continued her love of softball and played year-round on numerous teams in Phoenix. Cheryl's greatest joy in life was being a loving mother to her daughter, Eden Faye. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Paige Morrow.
