TOP PLAYS - Northwestern 31, Doane 7

CRETE, NEB. - Doane fell to 1-4 on the year, falling to #2 Northwestern College 31-7. 

Doane's only score, a one-yard touchdown run by Miles James III on the Tigers opening drive, helped Doane lead much of the first quarter and half, but trailed 10-7 at the break. 

The Tigers defense recorded five sacks in the loss and forced one turnover. 

Doane is back in action on the road at Dordt on October 5.
