What’s your favorite food at the Fair?
This year, at the Nebraska State Fair, more than 20 new dishes were introduced.

By News Channel NebraskaGRAND ISLAND, Neb.- This year, at the Nebraska State Fair, more than 20 new dishes were introduced. Some of those dishes included shuckers (watermelon on a stick), cactus jacks, and banana man (a deep-fried strawberry shortcake).
With the theme of “All Roads Lead to Fun,” the Nebraska State Fair began August 23 and it will run through September 3 at Fonner Park in Grand Island.
