KEARNEY, Neb. — Law enforcement in multiple states are looking for three people they believe are responsible for burglarizing two cell phone stores in Central Nebraska.
Kearney Police say they have obtained arrest warrants for burglary for 33-year-old Anthony Jordan and 32-year-old Marcus Brown and an aiding and abetting arrest warrant for 41-year-old Carlene Johnson. All three suspects are from St. Louis.
A news release says officers responded to a burglary alarm at the Verizon store in north Kearney around 1:00 a.m. on July 31. They found that the front window of the store had been broken out by a rock and several devices had been stolen. Shortly after, Grand Island Police responded to a similar burglary at a Verizon store in their city.
The release says investigators from both departments and authorities in Missouri used technology, interviews, video surveillance and FLOCK license plate cameras to identify the suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
