LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities say an inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center - Omaha (CCC-O) is back in custody. 

Michael Detty was arrested by the Lincoln Police Department and is in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Service (NDCS).

Detty had disappeared on Aug. 7, 2023 when he left the facility. 

Officials said he started his sentence on June 16, 2021. Detty was sentenced to four to six and a half years in prison for charges out of Clay County that include possession of stolen firearm and theft by unlawful taking.
