INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- And just like that, Nebraska has left the building.

With Nebraska's schedule starting a week earlier than most teams, the Huskers start fall training this week. That means the Nebraska contingent is departing Big Ten Football Media Days earlier, as well.

Nebraska Head Coach Scott Frost, tight end Travis Vokolek, and defenders Quinton Newsome and Garrett Nelson participated in the early session at Big Ten Media Days on Tuesday.

Frost answered questions about the pressures his program faces.

"Any year you're coaching at a school like Nebraska, or any of these schools in the Big Ten, there's going to be pressure to win," Frost said. "We certainly were playing catch-up with a lot of teams for a long time. I think we've done a good job closing the gap."

Frost was the first head coach to speak, immediately following Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren.

Warren faced numerous questions about expansion in the Big Ten, following USC and UCLA announcing their plans to leave the Pac-12 for the Big Ten.

"We will not expand just to expand," Warren said.

The Huskers will be back in Lincoln for Tuesday's Fan Day event, which starts at 6:00 p.m. CT. The Huskers will then kick off the season on Aug. 27, playing in Dublin against Northwestern.

"We've got to handle it really well," Frost said of his team's upcoming trip to Ireland. "That's what I've been talking to the team about a lot, being mature and handling it as a business trip."

News Channel Nebraska will be at Big Ten Media Days through the end of the event on Wednesday. Stay tuned for additional coverage throughout Tuesday and Wednesday.
