Ravenna man dies at Hall County Jail

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A Ravenna man dies Saturday in the Hall County Jail. 

The Hall County Sheriff's office said deputies responded to an in-custody death Saturday night. 

Authorities said 38-year-old Shane Starkey, of Ravenna, had died while in custody at the Hall County Jail.

He was arrested last August on felony child pornography charges following an incident at the Menards in Grand Island. 

Starkey was accused of taking pictures of minors using the bathroom. 

As with all in-custody deaths, an investigation will be conducted.
